First I would like to start this off with the fact that people who know me, know that I do not ask for help often, unless the need is dire.

Well folks, its getting to that point. And this is literally starting to become a situation of life and death, and Im nearing the breaking point stress wise. So I now come to you asking for some help. And here is why. (tl;dr at the bottom)

Keichimaru lost his job two weeks ago. They shut down the photolab where he works. Now by union law they HAVE to offer him another position in the store. Keichimaru is disabled, and they knew this upon hiring him. Well now that the photolab's closed, the store manager has been trying to get rid of him, and flat out TOLD Keichi that it was because he was disabled and that there was nothing else that he could possibly do in the store because of it. Didnt even want to offer him a CASHIER position because he's a guy and they only wanted women cashiers. Keichi has since informed his Union rep of the discrimination against him and has been fighting to get at least a cashier position. Right now he's kind of stuck. His union faxed him a medical form to the store, and he's been playing tag with the manager trying to get said form. He's going to be calling his Rep again today to try and get her to just email it to him directly.

Because of this, our personal bills are starting to fall behind. His credit is taking a major blow because we havent been able to pay the credit card, and now several people are calling in personal debts we owe them. Two of which we need to pay asap.

Theres one problem with this. Keichi receives roughly $890 in disability. $550 of that is rent, this month $88 of that is utilities, $110 for the net/cable (and while we would cut that this month we cant, due to the fact that its our roomates too, and by paying their share, we are working on paying off a debt with THEM as well). That leaves us with $140. Normally that would go entirely to food. But this month $50 has to go to one person, and another $50 has to go to another. We would go to the food bank for some help, but your only allowed to use them once every two months, and we used them last month.

Now why not just eat ramen for a month? Problem is that Keichi is hypoglycemic. If he doesn't eat proper meals, he gets sick. And if he doesn't eat at all, he could slip into a coma and die. I can forgo decent food, and just eat ramen if I have to. But we HAVE to have at least half decent meals for Keichi.

So now its come down to me coming forward to you, asking for some help. I am cutting down all my commission prices in half, and taking off the limit off how many I will take.
